Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a dual tapered solid core photonic crystal fiber (SCPCF) based modal interferometer for curvature and temperature measurement. The compact interferometer shows curvature and temperature sensitivity of 7.82 dB/m-1 and 42 pm/�C respectively. � OSA 2016.
