In this paper, space shift keying modulation (SSK) performance is analyzed for a 2\times 1 multiple-input-single-output (MISO) wireless communication system with dual-hop amplify-and-forward (AF) relaying systems over mixed Rayleigh and two-wave with diffuse power (TWDP) fading channels. The cumulative distribution function (CDF) expression is derived for the end-to-end signal-to-noise ratio and it is used to evaluate the average bit error probability (ABEP) of SSK modulation in mixed fading channel. Obtained ABEP expression is in the form of Whittaker function which can be numerically evaluated using its numerical or series representation. Numerical and simulation results are presented to illustrate the impact of fading parameters on the system performance. 2017 IEEE.en_US
