Abstract

In this paper, the Hilbert Transform (HT) based detection scheme is presented for the identification of voltage variation events such as sag, swell, and interruption. The distinct feature of the proposed scheme is the utilization of a moving average filter along with the Hilbert transform and fuzzy system. Software implementation and hardware prototype were developed for real-time processing of voltage variations on floating-point DSP (TMS320F28379D) board. Experimental and simulation results are presented to validate the proposed scheme. Finally, the performance accuracy of the proposed algorithm validated and achieves promising results on the hardware. � 2020 IEEE.
